HBO Max | Everything you need to know about managing your HBO Max subscription billed through Amazon.

In HBO Max, do one of the following:
- Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then Subscription.
- TV device: Choose the Settings icon and then Subscription.
  (Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)

Your subscription automatically renews on your next billing date. Here's how to find your next billing date:

Go to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and sign in to your Amazon account.
In the Your Subscriptions section, find HBO Max and take note of the auto-renewal date.

Things to know

Your HBO Max subscription automatically renews until you cancel it.
Deleting the HBO Max app does not cancel your subscription.
Cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid further charges.

Here's how to cancel your Amazon-billed subscription:

Sign in to your Amazon account at amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions.
Find your HBO Max subscription and turn off auto-renewal.

Once canceled, you should get an email from Amazon confirming your cancellation.

If you have the Sports Add-on, the add-on will be cancelled when your base subscription expires and you'll get a refund for the remaining days on your add-on. You can continue streaming until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

You can resubscribe to HBO Max at any time.

When will my plan change take effect?

The effective date depends on the change:

If you change to a lower-priced plan, your plan change will happen on your next billing date.
If you change to a higher-priced plan, your plan change happens immediately. You'll be charged the price difference between plans (plus applicable taxes) and your next billing date will be adjusted.
If you only change your billing period (monthly or yearly), your change will happen on your next billing date.
